The debut MIP London has just attracted its first bit of star power. Soccer star-turned TV powerhouse David Beckham will headline the first ever event in the English capital alongside Netflix content supremo Bela Bajaria.

Soccer star turned TV producer David Beckham and Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria are set to headline U.K. confab MIP London. Beckham, who starred in last year’s hit docuseries “Beckham,” is co-founder of content studio Studio 99. His next project is another Netflix docuseries about wife Victoria Beckham.

"We promised to deliver big moments and future-facing conversations at MIP London next February," said director Lucy Smith. "Bela and David are hugely impactful figures culturally and globally."
