MANCHESTER, England — Mason Mount was consoled by his Manchester United teammates after sustaining a latest injury setback on Sunday. The midfielder was substituted after only 14 minutes of the Premier League game against Manchester City after signaling to United's bench that he could not play on.

An emotional Mount was embraced by captain Bruno Fernandes and Amorim as he walked off the pitch with United fans fearing another lay-off for the 25-year-old. Former United star and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville commented that Mount looked 'demorialised' as he left the pitch with an indication of the player knowing the issue is a concern.
