The “Good Morning America” co-anchor, who was off the air this week, was back on the ABC show on Friday with a brief health update.

Lara Spencer returns to 'Good Morning America' after undergoing two foot surgeries at the same time. One procedure stemmed from a college diving injury.

Writing that she just got a "new pair of boots" and quipping that she wished they were cowboy boots instead, Spencer shared that she had a plate removed from her right foot on the heels of a surgery last year. That procedure was "easy," she said, but the left foot was a much "bigger deal" and stemmed from a college diving injury.

On Friday, Dec. 13, just two days after she told fans on social media that she had undergone double foot surgery, the ABC personality rejoined co-anchor George Stephanopoulos after taking time off earlier in the week to have the procedure.
