Houston Texans starting guard Juice Scruggs expected to miss 2 weeks; Kenyon Green may return
Starting left guard Juice Scruggs is expected to miss at least two weeks with a foot injury, a source with knowledge of the injury told the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday. Scruggs was not seen during the portion of practice open to the media.

Harris’ return should provide a boost to a defense playing without starter and team captain Azeez Al-Shaair as he’s been suspended for the next three games by the NFL for a controversial, concussion-causing hit on Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Al-Shaair appealed the punishment, but it was upheld by appeals officer Ramon Foster last week.
Texans' Juice Scruggs: Sidelined for weeks
Despite Houston's Week 14 bye, Scruggs is expected to be sidelined for the immediate future. Kendrick Green or Nick Broeker will likely serve as the Texans' starting left guard over the next couple games in Scruggs' stead.
