A woman who was hit by a motor vehicle in Charlestown Thursday was pronounced dead at a hospital hours later, police said. The woman, who was in her 80s, was hit near the intersection of Vine and Moulton streets in Charlestown around 8:45 a.

A woman died and two other people were injured after a crash early Friday morning in northeast Memphis, police said.

Police said the first reports of the woman being hit at the corner of Bunker Hill Street and Monument Street came in around 8:45 a.m. Thursday.
