HYDERABAD, (ANI) – Telugu superstar Allu Arjun was arrested on December 12 in connection with the death of a woman during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad. The incident also left an eight-year-old boy critically injured, casting a shadow over the much-anticipated movie’s release.

The judge, while granting interim bail to Arjun, granted interim protection from arrest for four weeks. She further directed the actor to approach the IX Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hyderabad, and apply for regular bail.

According to police reports, the stampede broke out as a large crowd gathered for the premiere, with Allu Arjun's unexpected arrival reportedly triggering the chaos inside the venue.

Allu Arjun was granted interim bail for four weeks by the Telangana High Court on Friday in connection with the stampede at the premiere of his blockbuster film 'Pushpa 2' in Hyderabad.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Friday said that police were doing their job in connection with Telugu actor Allu Arjun's arrest. Speaking exclusively on the Aaj Tak Agenda programme, Reddy said,
