South Africa has won a bilateral Twenty20 cricket series for the first time in more than two years after it chased down Pakistan’s 206 in Centurion.

In second T20 in Centurion, South Africa defeated Pakistan by seven wickets on Friday night. Batting first, Pakistan set a victory target of 207 runs for the loss of five wickets in stipulated 20 overs. In reply, South Africa achieved the target in 19.3 overs for the loss of three wickets.

South Africa has won a thrilling Twenty20 against Pakistan by 11 runs that went to the last over in Durban. Set 184 to win, Pakistan was thwarted on 172-8.

Opener Reeza Hendricks smashed 117 runs from 63 balls to guide South Africa to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second Twenty20 International at Centurion Park on Friday as they claimed the three-match series 2-0 with a game to spare.

Saim Ayub missed a chance to score his maiden T20I century as he remained unbeaten for 98 as Pakistan posted 206/5.
