Navy defeated Army 31-13 on Saturday to take home the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy, and it was a much-deserved win. The Midshipmen opened the game with a 65-yard touchdown drive and never gave up the lead from there.

From 1999 to 2015, Navy flat-out dominated Army winning all but one game. That stretch of wins help put the Midshipmen ahead of the Black Knights in the all-time head-to-head matchup, which currently favors Navy at 62-55-7.

Navy’s 18-point margin of victory was the largest in the series since 2019, and the 41 combined points the most scored since 2011. Midshipmen quarterback Blake Horvath accounted for four touchdowns — two passing, two rushing — and outgained the Black Knights all on his own with 311 total yards.
