Good news: Unlike the big game, these events are actually affordable, and one even includes a DJ set from Shaq.

Former basketball star Shaquille O'Neil is throwing a huge party in New Orleans ahead of the Big Game called Shaq's Fun House, and tickets go on pre-sale on Friday.

The NFL is kicking into full-promotion mode for Super Bowl LIX, which New Orleans hosts Feb. 9, 2025. Why it matters: This will be the city's 11th time hosting a Super Bowl, a record the city shares with only Miami.

The 2025 Super Bowl will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, home of the Saints. The venue has hosted the Super Bowl 10 times before, most recently in Super Bowl XLVII.

Louisiana native Lauren Daigle will perform “America the Beautiful” before the Super Bowl LIX game in New Orleans, Feb. 9.
