A power outage in Downtown Las Vegas area left thousands without power on Friday night, according to Las Vegas Fire Rescue.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Over 7,500 NV Energy customers are without in downtown Las Vegas. According to NV Energy’s website, the outage is mostly in the 89101 and 89104 area. FOX5 reached out to NV Energy who says they have a troubleman on scene now.

NV Energy reported an outage affecting more than 7,000 customers near the downtown Las Vegas area. The outage occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Friday along Charleston Boulevard and Fremont Street,
