A court in Pakistan has indicted imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife in one of several graft cases they face.

A Pakistan anti-terrorism court ordered the release of 38 people arrested in connection with last month's protest led by jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's party.

A Pakistani court indicted imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife on fresh charges of illegally selling state gifts on Thursday, local broadcaster Geo reported.

The case was initially filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). However, in light of NAB Amendments, the Federal Investigation Agency took over the case and filed its challan in September this year.
