Ola Group’s chief human resources officer, Balachandar N, has reportedly left the company after a stint of almost four years.

Ola Electric had hired Balachandar N initially as its CHRO in May 2021 when the company was gearing up to launch its first line of electric scooters.

N Balachandar, Ola Group's Chief People Officer, has resigned after two years, reportedly to start his own consultancy. This follows several other senior executive departures from Ola this year, amidst layoffs at Ola Electric and increasing competition for Ola's ride-hailing business.

Balachandar was appointed as the chief human resources officer of Ola Electric in May 2021 and was elevated to the group level later that year. He headed the HR function for ride-hailing firm Ola Cabs,
