Two people suspected in a robbery near South Peoria Street and East Iliff Avenue were arrested Friday after Aurora police chased them through the city for 30 minutes, according to agency officials.

Two people were taken into custody after the suspects led a police chase the wrong way down the interstate in Aurora Friday.According to the Aurora Police Department, officers responded to the call of a robbery at a fast food restaurant near the intersection of Peoria Street and East Iliff Avenue.

The incident began when police say a Panera Bread on Iliff Avenue in Aurora was robbed by two people. Aurora police responded to the location where a pursuit broke out. The chase ended at Potomac Street and 13th Avenue when police say a PIT maneuver was performed on the suspects’ vehicle.
