Millions of families, friends, veterans and volunteers gathered across the nation to participate in Wreaths Across America.

Visitors at Arlington National Cemetery will lay wreaths on headstones to honor service members and veterans. Wreaths Across America will also be holding similar events at more than 4,500 locations.

Wreaths Across America would like to thank the communities, dedicated volunteers, and generous sponsors for supporting those who have protected our freedom. Each person has played a part in the year-long mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.

“We are honored to host Wreaths Across America Day 2024. This day provides visitors an opportunity to reflect on the importance of service and learn the stories of the men and women who fought for our country,” said Executive Director of the Office of Army Cemeteries and Army National Military Cemeteries Karen Durham-Aguilera.

Wreaths Across America comes back to Arlington National Cemetery this weekend. But the cemetery need volunteers to lay wreaths on every gravesite.

On Saturday, thousands of volunteers gathered to remember the fallen members of the armed forces.They braved the chilling temperatures to participate in the 2024 Wreaths across America day.Participants lined up to lay wreaths on the graves of veterans and were encouraged to say their names aloud out of respect.
